Welcome

Wilderness. Wildlife. Wander.

What is "topophilia?" Topophilia means “a strong sense of place; a love for peculiar places; a sense of home.” It reflects my desire to connect myself and others to the breathtaking spaces in which I work, to help guide visitors towards a deeper appreciation for our remarkable natural world.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you’ll take a moment or two to check out the photography galleries.

Respecting Nature

As a Park Ranger, biologist, and lover of all ecological systems, I abide by the simple rule to leave a natural area better than you found it, and to never interfere with wildlife, natural processes, or trampling across wildflower meadows to get "the shot." Most, if not all, of my photographs have been taken right while standing on a trail or paved path. I am a Nature First photographer and follow the Principles of Leave No Trace.

Farmers' Markets
I have been making handmade cards and earrings from my photography and selling at markets across Montana. Stay tuned for where you can find me next in person!
